Gloria “Duffer” St. Amour 

May 1, 1951 — March 29, 2026

Alburgh – Gloria “Duffer” St. Amour, passed away Sunday evening, March 29, 2026 at the McClure Miller Respite House with her family at her side.

Gloria was born May 1, 1951 in Jeffersonville, the daughter of the late Lionel and Dora Tatro. Gloria was a resident of Alburgh most of her life. She worked at IBM for 26 years, retiring in 2010. She was well known for her love of the many rescue animals she adopted over her entire life. She is survived by her husband John of Alburgh, her daughter Michelle Fife and good friend Lenny of Alburgh. She is also survived by her sister Brenda Deslandes and her husband Raymond of Jay. Gloria was predeceased by her mother, Dora Tatro, and her father Lionel Tatro.

Gloria’s family wish to thank the staff at the Northwestern Medical Center, UVM Home Health and Hospice, as well as the UVM Hematology and Oncology Center for their care during her long illness. 

In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, there will be no visiting hours or services.
