Donald Pidgeon Jr

Donald A. Pidgeon Jr, 66, of Colchester, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, with loved ones by his side.

Born on June 5, 1959, in Burlington, to Donald Sr. and Alberta Pidgeon. As a child, his family lived in Milton, VT, but spent many summers at the family camp on the Georgia Shore. Don attended Milton Senior High School, where he enjoyed playing hockey. After high school he was a machinist for a time before finding his love for building and starting his own construction business.

Don lived a full and vibrant life marked by a deep love for family, the outdoors, and the simple joys of nature. An avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener, he found peace and purpose in the woods, on the water, and among his thriving garden.

Don was known for turning a day of fishing or gardening into a lesson in patience and appreciation. Above all, he cherished time spent with family — from early morning hunts and backyard barbecues to quiet evenings sharing stories and laughter.

He is survived by his wife Karen, their son Joey Beaupre (Nancy Coli) of Colchester, daughter Randi Beaupre (Micheal Jarvis)of Milton, and their many grandchildren Conner Beaupre, Joseph Beaupre (Vanessa), Hannah Coli, Caitlin Beaupre, Aiden Coli, Jadden Bissonette, Kylie Bissonette, DJ Garvey, Maddison Beaupre, Owen Jarvis as well as great grandchildren Beckett Beaupre and Karsyn Jenkins. He is also survived by his sister Donna Henscheid (Jim) of Meridian, ID, half-brothers and sisters, Leta Harvey (Phil) of Bushnell, FL, Gary Trivento (Judy) of Gainsville, GA, Wilma Fleming (David) of Palm Coast, FL, step sister Amy Poirier ( Cliff) of Irasburg, VT, brother in law Skip Turner (Lynn Bissonette) of Fairfax, VT.

He was predeceased by his parents, Donald Sr. and Alberta Pidgeon; his father and mother-in-law, Edward Turner Sr. and Leona; his siblings, Arnold Pidgeon, Edward Trivento, Audrey McHone, Victor Trivento, Sandra Marchacos, and June Austin; his brother-in-law, Scott Turner; and his beloved granddaughter, Brynn Garvey. Don will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

There will be no public services, per Don’s wishes.
